All indoor ensembles compete on the Carolina Winter Ensemble Association (CWEA) circuit and Winter Guard International Sport of the Arts (WGI) circuit.

  • Winter Guard – An intermediate-level competitive program that combines music, dance, choreography and guard (use of flags, sabers, mock rifles, and other equipment) for a beautiful expression of music. The BSHS Varsity and JV Winter Guards are 2022 SCBDA State Champions in their respective divisions.

  • Indoor Percussion – An intermediate-level competitive program that differs itself from a traditional percussion ensemble. It focuses not only on musical performance but could also include theatrics and marching. The Boiling Springs Indoor Percussion are 2024 CWEA  Champions in their respective division.
